A Reunion picnic.   On August 11th 2021  23 members of the CanRamblers brought their lunches and something to drink and met at the main parking lot of Mt. Douglas park where we sat around a picnic table and on folding chairs that most people brought with them.  More than half the group went down to the beach for a ramble along to the left at the bottom of the stairs.  The rest of us enjoyed catching up on all the news that we wanted to share after being essentially shut down for 18 months.  A couple of small groups  have continued to get together for walks while keeping in their own bubble.  This was truly a reunion for the rest of us now we have all had our vaccinations and are practising all the safe "good Health" procedures like wearing masks when there is any chance of passing along a cold or flu germ to the others and keeping social distancing when possible.
